FAMILY CENTERED TREATMENT (FCT) CLINICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Southmountain Children and Family Services is seeking a provider experienced in working with trauma to join its team as a Family Centered Treatment Provider.
This provider works with families to promote stabilization and preserve or restore reunification following an out-of-home placement, while also preventing the need for such placements whenever possible. The role involves providing in-home Family Centered Treatment (FCT) and delivering trauma-informed, comprehensive clinical assessments, with ongoing collaboration and consultation with community service providers to ensure coordinated, holistic care for children and their families. As part of our Journeys Home program, the FCT clinician supports children and families served through our foster community in Nebo and our local Children’s Advocacy Centers, including those in Burke and McDowell counties.
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, but requires flexibility for after-hours emergencies and periodic on-call duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified Professional status required
Experience in treating traumatized children is required
Master’s Degree or higher preferred
Licensure to provide mental health services is preferred
Preference will be given to candidates who are rostered in TF-CBT, currently participating in the NC Child Treatment Program, or being nationally certified in TF-CBT
