Holli Sink, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist and the Chief Program Officer at Southmountain Children and Family Services (Southmountain). Dr. Sink obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Miami University and completed her Clinical Psychology pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, where she received specialized training in childhood trauma through the Center for Child and Family Health. Dr. Sink is a certified consultant for Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a Level 1 Trainer for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and a Master Trainer for the National Child Traumatic Stress Network’s (NCTSN) trauma-informed Resource Parenting Curriculum. She has been with the organization since 2012.

As the Chief Program Officer, Dr. Sink leads a large team of highly trained mental health professionals serving children and families through the agency’s one-of-a-kind residential foster community and eleven Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) across NC. In addition to supervising and training the mental health team, Dr. Sink is the Program Administrator for the Agency’s evidence-based treatment programs known as the Southmountain Centers of Excellence. The Centers of Excellence provide an array of evidence-based models, primarily Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is the gold standard of care for children who have experienced trauma.

Dr. Sink enjoys providing supervision and leading teams and is excited about the growth of Southmountain’s CACs and the high-quality trauma-informed mental health services the agency provides to children and families across North Carolina.
