Southmountain Receives a Grant from the Burke Women’s Fund
Southmountain Children and Family Services is proud to be a recent recipient of a grant for $1,200 from the Burke Women’s Fund, operating under the auspices of the Community Foundation of Burke County. The grant will support our SPARCS of Light for Troubled Teen Project by providing funding for a Clinician to be trained in the SPARCS group therapy for teenage girls. SPARCS stands for Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress and will teach our girls coping skills and positive relationship skills.
